About CareDoing

Hi, I'm Jennifer. For more than a decade, I've been showing up every day for the people I love most — caring for my mom, and for my brother until we lost him. It's a journey that changed me in ways I'm still discovering.

I didn't walk it alone. Family and friends showed up alongside me, and that support made all the difference. But even with people in my corner, I often felt like I was figuring it out without a roadmap.

One of my most important guides has been my mom herself. A nurse and a caregiver for over 30 years — she cared for my brother long before I stepped in — she brings a perspective that is both deeply personal and genuinely expert. Even now, as someone I care for, she is a guiding influence on the practices and resources that shape CareDoing.

I'm a caregiver — and I'm also an entrepreneur and business advisor with a PhD in management and a background in research and strategy. When I started applying those skills to caregiving — organizing information, finding reliable resources, building practical tools — everything felt more manageable.

I built CareDoing to share that with you. Not as an expert looking down from a distance, but as someone who has sat exactly where you're sitting. You're not alone in this. And you're in exactly the right place.
